Keep your speed down and warn pedestrians and others well before you pass. Treat others on the trail with respect and courtesy - it's only fair. Watch for cyclists, skate-boarders and in-line skaters before stepping on to the trail or off to the side. Keep a close eye on wandering children and don't bring pets without a leash. If you're the faster traffic, slow down when approaching others. Move off to the side of the trail for less-mobile users. Biking to work is fun and great exercise. It even helps reduce stress on the job. Keep everyone's stress levels low by keeping your speed down and warning others before you pass. If you like to ride fast or need to get somewhere in a hurry, use the streets. It's safer and gets you there faster.
